Yes. Home shredding bags go by Royal Mail anywhere in the UK.
Paper of any kind — bank statements, medical records, old bills, letters, tax paperwork. Photographs and negatives are fine too.
No. Staples, paperclips and bindings all go through. Plastic wallets are the only thing we’d rather you left out.
You can, and we’ll shred them. But they eat space you’ve paid for, and the metal corners can pierce the bag. You’ll fit far more in if you tip the paper out and keep the empty binders
No — please don’t. A full bag is 20kg. Leave them where they are and tell the driver where to find them. Our drivers are used to fetching bags from spare rooms and garages.
Not necessarily but preferably yes as the bags are marked confidential. if you have to go out please leave them somewhere safe — a porch, a side gate, a garage — and tell us where when you book.
We take those too, for an additional charge. Drives are physically destroyed and you get a separate data destruction certificate. We can’t take CRT monitors, but flat screens are fine.
